Meralys HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray contains the active substance xylometazoline chloride, which belongs to the group of drugs called sympathomimetics. Xylometazoline chloride helps narrow the blood capillaries in your nose, thereby reducing the swelling of the nasal mucosa, which makes breathing easier. Meralys HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray also contains hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate) which protects and moisturizes the nasal mucosa. It is used to reduce swelling of the lining of the nose caused by inflammation of the lining of the sinuses (sinusitis) or inflammation of the lining of the nose (rhinitis).
Meralys HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution is used for the treatment of adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
