Controly Urinary Tract Infection Test for children and adults
 
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common, especially in women and children (due to the short urethra). The test detects the presence of nitrites and leukocytes in the urine. The appearance of these may be a symptom of a bacterial UTI.
Other symptoms suggestive of a UTI include pollakiuria, oliguria, pain or soreness in the lower abdomen and/or lower back, and stinging and burning when urinating.
The urine may also become cloudy and/or have a different smell.
