Mycocur, unlike other preparations against fungal skin infections, shows effectiveness after only 1 week of therapy, applied once a day. Such high efficiency is the result of the high fungicidal potential of this drug (ability to kill fungi), and its ability to accumulate and form a depot in the upper layer of the skin. Thanks to this, Mycocur has a unique advantage over other antifungal preparations - and that is the shorter duration of therapy. It has been proven that 1 week of therapy with terbinafine (the active substance of Mycocur) is more effective than 4 weeks of therapy with clotrimazole (the active substance of most of the most popular anti-fungal preparations).
