Cold cream

Cold cream is a cream or ointment that should protect the skin against moisture loss and drying out in cold, wind and cold weather. A cold cream does not protect against the cold itself or frostbite in itself, but will act as an extra protective layer on the skin in severe cold. Cold creams are completely water-free or contain only small amounts of water. Apply cold cream before cold exposure. A cold cream is nice to smear on the children's cheeks in the winter, before they go out in cold weather.
